JORDAN GRAY
& this is a showcase of projects I've enjoyed working on.
I coded this site by hand using css, php and xhtml (strict compliant)!
These things are important to me because web development is a generative art form: the final piece is created when a catalyst (browser) interacts with a seed (code). By starting with carefully crafted code and understanding the potential iterations, I strive to build sites that render beautifully in today's browsers (and stand a chance at rendering without a hiccup years from now).
I also enjoy working with small screens and studying the interactions people have with them. Now that computers are relatively fast and portable, it's more interesting to ask how easy it is to use a machine than how many millions of operations it can perform in a second.
